Geoff grew up in Fruitland, Idaho, no really, it is a real place. He went to University of Idaho and studied English and some photography. He then went back to Fruitland, yes Fruitland, after college and started working on the farm his grandfather had started (mint and onions, in case you were wondering).

He married the love of his life Krista and has 3 beautiful daughters who think he is fantastic! No propaganda there!

Geoff has been "studying" (air quotes) photography since he was a young boy and has been en-captured (ha!) ever since. His faith in God and passion for photography and writing drives him to be the artistic, creative, fun-loving, slightly nuts, fantastic, gifted, and all too happy person that he is!

The reason Geoff does what he does is, because he likes it

(duh), and to capture the essence of what God sees in other people and things and bring them to life through photography!

You may be asking yourself "is that why it is named N'captured?".... well if I have to answer that for you then you might as well believe that he used it only because it is all that was left. It is not even in the dictionary!

As for the rest of you who didn't stop reading there to open their dictionary and see, you may find it interesting to know that Geoff has found ways to use lights (kudos to the strobist) and all the random stuff in his trunk for creating beautiful images that inspire and tell stroies.
